David Alvey


A former U.S. Navy journalist, David Alvey has been in the communications industry for more than 30 years. He won numerous awards as an advertising copywriter, broadcast producer and creative director before founding Aardvark Communications, Inc. in 1992.

Carolyn Alvey

Vice President

Carolyn began her career with Ogilvy & Mather – Dallas upon graduating from Ball State University with a degree in journalism. Carolyn also worked with Communiqué Public Relations and Keller Crescent Public Relations before joining Aardvark Communications, Inc. in 1994.

In 1996, while overseeing the public relations program for the Association of Radio Managers of Dallas/Fort Worth (ARMS), Carolyn led a five-member team to develop the Amber Alert, a nationally recognized alert system leading to the return of abducted or missing children.
